Product Description
The Dominator 5 features Sidis Competition sole which accommodates optional toe spikes. The breathable, supple, durable Lorica Microfiber Upper keeps feet comfortable with cooling mesh inserts. The Ultra SL buckle allows for easy on-the-bike fit adjustment while the soft instep closure system and padded tongue eliminate pressure points. Another feature unique to Sidi, the High Security Velcro wont shift or slip. The Dominator 5 is available in both Standard and Mega widths.

First of all, for cyclists with wider feet, Sidi is one of the few high quality bike shoe makers that offers a wide size easily available to nobody cyclists like me. You can try Lake but they have had terrible distribution issues for years now. Generally, Sidis are of great quality and fit. I have the Sidi Mega Genius road shoes and have been very happy with them. I decided to get these MTB shoes mostly for spinning since I've been doing mostly road cycling now that I'm training up for a century ride. But I've been using these Dominators for several months now, three times a week. I really like how these Dominators ratchet down for a tight fit. They air out well (I sweat A-L-O-T during my rides - buckets). I go 1-2 days between rides with the Dominators and they are completely dry before every ride. Take note, the sizes between Sidi road and mtn bike shoes are slightly different. My size 40 Mega Sidi Genius road shoes fit perfectly. The same size in the Dominator mountain shoes run a little big on me. I probably am a 39 in the Dominators but decided to keep the 40's since I am lazy and hate returning things. I just ratchet down the shoe and my foot is not budging. In case you use orthotic inserts, the shoe easily accommodates mine. I primarily use eSoles but have put in other thicker custom orthotics with no problem at all during my rides.

The fit and function of these shoes is great. Standard width bike shoes typically are too narrow for me so it's nice to have a wider option.
