5I feel like Hermes... not the purse but the dude with wings on his feet.

If you can afford it then buy it! If you can't, then buy Sidi genius. These shoes are AWESOME. Not only are they just beautiful to look at (I almost want to put mine in a clear display box under a spot light), they are also very comfortable to wear.First of all, get your feet properly sized, preferably by a Sidi professional. I have seen them at different events so be sure of your size before you plunk down the cash. You really can see the quality in this shoe and the craftsmanship. It is beautifully made with shiny leathery material on the outside, and there is really no seam on the inside to irritate your feet. The buckles/dials are perfectly placed and machined. These shoes actually came with a thick manual and I actually had to read them in order to figure out how to operate it. So I'll save you the trouble of read that manual. Not remember the actual technical names of the parts, I'll just describe them.1. The far end velcro strip is self explanatory, just peel / stick.2. The little turn dial in the middle is to tighten the fit. There is a little reset thingy that sticks out, just move it to reset the dial to the widest setting. After you put the shoes on, you can flip the turn dial up and use it to tighten the fit (clockwise, NOT counterclockwise) like you wind up a watch. The adjustment clicks are very small, so you can dial in a perfect tightness.3. The near end buckle has 3 different (actually 4 different) adjustments. On the inside (left side if we're talking about the right shoe, right side if left shoe), I believe you can take the SIDI strip out or push it in if you need to. The point is to have the ID in sIDi directly over the middle of the foot. On the outside (right side if right shoe, left side if left shoe), there's the buckle. The top is used to loosen the strap, the bottom is used to tighten the strap. If you want to take out the strap completely, then use the outside one (shaped like H).3. Heel cup. You can adjust the heel fit by turning the little screw inside. The shoes come with pretty tight fit already but you can adjust it so that it's even tighter.4. Sticker. There were 2 pieces of sticker that came with the shoes. One side is sticker and the other is rough like sand paper. This is to be used between your cleat and the shoe so that they don't slip against each other. I use Look Keo so I'll describe what I did. The stickers look like an arrow with a little hole cutout. I had to cut the hole bigger and longer so that it'll fit the memory clip that Look cleats have. After I made sure it'll work, just stick the sticky side to the cleat and screw the cleat in.I really like these shoes... granted, I upgrade from something that's not -real- nice but it's almost night and day. I can actually notice the weight difference, that these shoes are nearly weightless. The fit is perfect (I have narrow feet), that I don't have wiggle room in the shoe. The heel hold is good, so that I can pull up on each stroke. Overall, I'm happy with the purchase. Look around for a good price though, I bought mine for ~$270 at PBK.
