I clock 6000+ miles/year and have several pairs of shoes so that I can rotate them for different conditions and days. After getting my first pair of these Mavic Avenir shoes I immediately ordered a second pair to keep in the box for when the first pair wears out. They are reasonably lightweight, feel quite durable and are surprisingly comfortable. In the course of a couple of weeks they have become my "go to" shoe for training rides (I use a lighter-weight shoe for club/weekend rides). At this price you can't beat the quality. Most of my gear is black and yellow so the colors are a perfect match for me, but any color will match well with the mostly-black theme of this shoe.Comfortable, durable, mid-weight and low-cost = 4 stars. Buy them.
