4Warm and wide
By Michael Hopwood
I have suffered from cold feet during colder rides so bought these boots. I ended up getting a size larger than normal because I have wide feet and I wanted extra room for thicker wool socks. I probably could have stayed with my standard size since they are a bit large even with thick socks but prefer that to being too small. So far I have ridden 2 hours at temperatures in the upper 30's and my feet stayed warm. Typically I would have worn neoprene shoe covers and still have cold feet on a ride like this so am very happy with the investment. I haven't tried them in wet conditions so not sure how they will handle that. The only thing I am not thrilled with so far is having to tuck in the lacing system under the velcro straps - works but isn't super convenient.I recommend these if you ride in cold conditions and suffer from cold feet.

5Great shoes
By Mike
I have had these for two years and I ride at least three days a week in the winter. These shoes replaced shoe covers and they are great. much better than separate covers with holes in them. I got the MTB shoes so I could ride on both the road and trail. Worked well on both. Feet are warm down to 32, probably comfortable below that with heavy socks. A little expensive, but they are holding up very well. Should get several more years out of them.

4So far so good
By Jim Canady
I wanted to hold off my review until after I had ridden at least once in pretty cold weather. I did so this morning. Although there are colder days ahead, this morning the temperature was 31 with a wind chill from the high teens to the low 20's. While my feet were not toasty for the ride, they were not cold. Really you can't ask for much better than that. My experience has been that it doesn't matter if it is winter boots or winter riding boots, I have never wore footwear that kept my feet warm at temperatures in the 20’s or below. This may be partly because of frostbite I experienced in the 80’s. It seems that once you have had frostbite you always struggle with the cold weather from that point on.Regarding the company I purchased the riding boots from, decent but not excellent. The order was not shipped until a week after the order was placed and not until after I sent a email asking about the delay. The owner was gracious in his reply and sent the boots out that day, but it would have been nice to not have felt I needed to send an email. All that being said, I would still consider purchases from this company in the future as the price was fair and the product was excellent.
