3Not very warm
By Lisa Hodges
Last winter I really suffered with cold feet so I decided to buy these. Unfortunately, my feet are still solid blocks of ice at the end of a cold day ride. I was really hoping they would solve my problem but they have not. I do seem to have colder feet than the average cyclist- so keep that in mind. I seem to get frozen feet when no one else on my team does. I wear these with wool socks AND shoe covers. They only really keep my feet warm in over 45 degree weather. When it gets below 40 degrees they are essentially only slightly better than my regular shoes. The last ride was around 32-40 degrees so I inserted the chemical warming pads into my shoes and I still had frozen feet at the end of the ride.I do like the way they fit and the way they look. Also I got caught in the rain with them and although they say "water resistant" my shoes were full of water in about 20 minutes.
