terra lite bike shoe

I like the shoe because as it's name states it is lite. The shoe has good ventilation. The shoe is easy to walk in, don't expect it to feel like a sneaker, but it is comfortable to walk in off the bike. The laces are long and ok if you route them back through the bottom lace and then through the velcro at the top so they do not get caught while riding. Overall I was pleased with the shoe, it was what I expected it to be.

Light, stiff, great price

Look no further for a carbon-soled road bike shoe. Great price, super light, stiff as it gets. The only caveat is that these babies are slippery! I put some contact vinyl stair tread stuff on the bottoms to give me some traction at stoplights and walking around.

Worth the $$?

The shoe is comfortable and form fitting. What I worry about is the power loss in the front of the shoe, as there is no way to tighten the shoe around the foot.These are great shoes for the triathlon. I know these will last me a while, since they are well constructed. I'm not sure they are worth the extra hundreds over the cheaper tri shoes, although they are very high quality.Again it comes down to the Power transfer to the pedals. There is still room in the shoe where I feel my foot seperating when I pull up on the shoe. Would probably be a 5 if it was tighter.
