I was not informed that there would be such exorbitant shipping and customs charges for this purchase. I was willing to pay the shipping and handling charges which were at least 50% of the cost of the shoes, but was quite surprised to get a bill for the customs charges which were an additional charge of over 50% of the item cost! I asked the vendor to pick up this charge since I was not made aware that I would be charged this, but they refused to do so. I have refused to pay the customs charges and must wait at least 20 days before the item is returned to the vendor and I can receive a refund!
