Cycling shoes are one of the most difficult shoes to find for comfort on those long rides. Even more difficult to risk purchasing on line. These shoes have been great. They took about 2 weeks to break in but have been awesome since then. The best feature is that they were designed for Speedplay pedals which is all will use on my bikes. These shoes fit very true to size and are very comfortable. An excellent purchase for the money...I would recommend these to any one with a normal (D) width foot.

must have been a defective pair because the screw mounts for the cleat were installed backwards; I was unable to open them up from the inside to turn them around so I sent them right back; beware of "left overs" from years past...

These shoes cracked both soles withing 500 miles. First they cracked just in front of the heel guards, then on the same ride the toe cracked, leaving me with a flexing sole on my left foot for the last 35 miles of hills on Skyline Drive. They are flimsy, and if you buy them from Amazon they won't take them back after 30 days. Stay away. This will be the last pair of Lake shoes I buy.
